The SiteStat thermostat is a communicating thermostat designed for new or retrofit commercial and small office applications. The SiteStat thermostat is an easy-to-use, low profile surface mount unit with built-in functions for flexible climate control.
Special logic and control sequences within the thermostat operate equipment at peak efficiency, and even learn time-to-setpoint trends over time. This means you save energy and reduce maintenance and servicing of your heating and cooling system.Best of all, SiteStats can be controlled remotely; on your network, over the Internet, of via dial-up phone connections. You can allow occupants to use SiteStat buttons, or disable them for maximum security and efficiency.
SiteStat thermostats are compatible with virtually all commercial HVAC equipment available on the market today. There are four models:
- Single stage gas/electric control, 1 heating stage, 1 cooling stage
- Multi-stage gas/electric control, 2 heating stages, 2 cooling stages
- Heat pump, 2 heating stages, 1 cooling stage
- Heat pump, 3 heating stages, 2 cooling stages
SiteStats can be used with fan coil units, heat pumps, unit heaters, packaged roof top units, and packaged heating/cooling appliances. Thermostats connect directly to HVAC equipment, and are almost always compatible with old thermostat wiring.
Optional sensors can be connected to the SiteStat, such as remote indoor temperature sensors, outdoor air temperature sensors, and other accessories to assist in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting. Your installation specialist can recommend accessories that will fit your particular needs.
SiteStat Operation
The SiteStat thermostat has been designed to provide accurate control and display of room temperature.
In addition it also will display all relevant information pertaining to your HVAC system. The clearly marked buttons and informative display make it extremely easy to understand and simple to use. The thermostat normally displays room temperature, mode of operation and whether cooling or heating is currently on. The six buttons on the front of the unit allow complete control of your equipment.
You may select different heating and cooling setpoints for the system to maintain, e.g., 70° in heating and 75° in cooling. Raising or lowering the setpoints in heating or cooling is as simple as pushing a button. In addition, you may choose to display the temperature in °F or °C.
